Current Events - or nearly so
Here's the place to read about current events and my libertarian views on them. Since this is a website and not a blog, it serves as a standing reference of ideals, concepts and principles that reflect libertarian philosophy. Nevertheless, it seems appropriate to have a place for human events that are unfolding as I construct the site. Elsewhere on the web I might write articles and comment on blogs and forums, but this page will provide me with a handy spot to point to my writings about current and recent events. It also gives me a spot that serves as a "catch all" for topics that don't warrant their own navigation bar page. Topics will appear in alphabetical order by description, and they'll be included here as the mood strikes me. Sometimes I'll have a full opinion of my own, and other times I'll use this platform to point out where media is doing us a disservice by the way they address a particular issue. In any event, it should be a place for lively commentary, opinions and observations. So, let's get started with the first entry in our list of current events, the mosque at ground zero. It's causing quite an uproar, and it's time for me to weigh in on the matter. Look for more topics "in the days and weeks ahead" as our "representatives" in Congress love to say. At the rate they move, they really should say "in the months and years ahead." Thankfully, they move quite slowly. If you have a subject that you'd like me to address, just let me know and I'll be happy to consider it.
